Amy Hurst, RN, MSN

Certified Nurse Practitioner

Amy has been a Nurse Practitioner for over 14 years, and for the last 12 years her primary focus has been on health, wellness and anti-aging solutions – including cosmetic injectables. She is passionate about customizing skincare programs and health plans to help her clients look and feel their best! She created The Downtown Wellness Spa to offer a trusted comprehensive wellness clinic to help others find the best version of themselves both internally and externally. Amy knows we deserve to feel good about ourselves and wants others to see their beauty inside and out.

Melisa Rizvic, BSN, RN

Melisa Rizvic (BSN, RN) attended college at Indiana University Fort Wayne to pursue her career goals of becoming a nurse. She started her nursing career as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, and is now a nurse injector on our team! She is very excited to be following her passion into Aesthetics and Wellness nursing. Melisa specializes in weight loss solutions, neurotoxins, MoveoGlo facials, consultations, and IV therapy. She is eager to provide you with compassionate care and help you achieve your goals!

Prior to working at The Downtown Wellness Spa Laura worked as a dental assistant at an Oral Surgery office for 21 years. She had many roles there and one was working with the Facial Cosmetic Surgeon. She absolutely loved working with the clients and seeing their smiles after the procedures were completed. Everyone just had such a positive outcome and a new glowing look! She knew after working with the clients that this was the fit for her. A wonderful opportunity presented itself here at The Downtown Wellness Spa and she left the dental field. Laura is amazed how a little botox, filler and products can drop the years and reverse the look of aging. As women we need to feel beautiful and sometimes a little product can go a long way. To be able to work somewhere that not only helps people feel beautiful on the outside, but makes them feel better internally is amazing.

Leah has been a licensed esthetician in Fort Wayne since 2021. Her journey into the esthetics world started when she was 18. As much of an impulse decision it was to go with esthetics after high school she has loved every moment in this field. She loves to talk about skincare! If you are meeting her for the first time don’t be surprised if one of her first questions is “Are you using sunscreen daily?” 
She thrives on the uniqueness of every skin type and enjoys the opportunity to address any challenges you might face. Her ultimate goal is to send you off feeling not just refreshed but empowered and ready to conquer the world.

Baylee

Esthetician

Enthusiastic about the transformative power of skincare, Baylee pursued certification as an esthetician right out of high school at the Aveda Fredrics Institute, where she earned her advanced esthetician license. Driven by a deep desire to enhance people’s confidence and self-image, she has continually expanded her expertise through numerous certification classes, mastering various skincare techniques, from facials to laser hair removal, facial and body lasers, and emphasizing personalized treatments for each client. With a focus on meticulous care and a calming presence, Baylee aims to create an atmosphere where clients can relax and revitalize.

Sydney is a dual licensed cosmetologist and esthetician with an unrelenting passion for the beauty and skin care industry. Her passion started at the young age of 11 when her battle with cystic acne began. Overcome with the desire to heal her skin, Sydney delved into the world of skin health. Over the years, as her knowledge grew and her skin started to heal, Sydney started to share her expertise with those around her. She found a deep and profound love for helping others feel confident in their appearance and skin heath. Her entire life from her preteen years and on, has revolved around making individuals feel and look their best from skin health to beauty application. Sydney offers a wide variety of services, covering everything from acne treatment and mature skin focus to aesthetic services such as brow laminations, laser hair removal, teeth whitening, and more. Sydney is extremely results driven, her goal is to not only care for her client’s skin, but transform it.
